This delightful fair trade coffee comes from the Jarabacoa region located around 2,600-5,000 feet high in the Dominican Republic. This family owned estate creates their own natural gas to partially power their production and also use their profits to create sustainable gas recycling and water filtration systems. They have built new schools in their area and donate books and computers to many schools as well.
Lighter roasts will have citrus notes with a little sweetness while darker roasts are smoother with chocolatey, nutty flavors.
